It could get buried in the other FF threads, sure, but eh. Let's liven things up. First off I'm an FFXI player. That's one of the things that keeps me distracted during the weekends when all the scheduled events take place, so when I heard of FFXIV, I was actually pretty floored. I was of the side of the internet that didn't believe SE's 'Rapture' would be Yet Another Final Fantasy. I was actually kinda hoping they'd at least choose another of their franchises if not create something entirely ...

My favorite is FF X. People rag on FF IX but I think FF IX brought back the true world of "Final Fantasy," and not all this technology and machine crud. It was a true fantasy world.
